Takuji Maekawa serves as President & CEO of Taiyo America and Taiyo Circuit Automation since 2019. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at Taiyo America and Taiyo Circuit Automation. He founded Taiyo Corporate Venture Capital in 2020 and serves as Managing Partner. Takuji is an experienced executive specializing in managing cross-border businesses of high-growth technology companies with full P&L responsibilities for internet services, software, and manufacturing in Japan, North America, Europe, and APAC. He also has experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Post Merger Integration, Joint Ventures, and Strategic Partnerships. Takuji’s expertise spans E-Commerce, Internet Advertising/Marketing, Web Search, Mobile SDKs, Manufacturing, Robotics, and Automation. Takuji holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University, and an MBA from the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University.
